Street Angel Volume One: The Princess of Poverty, Jim Rugg and Brian Maruca

Street Angel is a homeless, skateboarding, ninja superhero teenage girl. In this book she meets mad scientists, superheroes, gods, conquistadors, and other teenage girls. Oh, and ninjas. Whole lotta ninjas.

This comic was.. okay. The concept is fine, the way it's handled doesn't fuck it up, but something just doesn't work for me. Maybe it is the appearance of the word "phat." Your mileage may vary.

Top 10 Volume 1, Alan Moore, Gene Ha & Zander Cannon

Neopolis is the city where the superhumans live. All of them. How do you police this sort of city? Well, with more superhumans, of course.

Since Marvel and DC have copyrighted a certain word, the people of the city are known as "science heroes." Also, in spite of the almost constant references to sex, nobody can swear. Still, pretty interesting read.
