This novel spun off into its own little "created by" empire of product placement.
The concept is juicy stories about bitchy rich kids--I guess because bitchy rich kids get sick of reading about noble poor kids. The novel is decent enough reading, though I don't see the point of the website gossip bits. I guess there needed to be some tie-in with the title.
On the other hand, I don't think this is something I need to read on a regular basis, because I already hate most of these people.
