Java Jack, Luqman Keele & Daniel Pinkwater

Our nameless hero is told his parents are missing, but as he flies to a distant land to find out what's going on, he's kidnapped by some creep who tells him his parents are dead and gives him the name Java Jack.

A wild adventure ensues, with danger, rock music, pirates and magic.

I knew there was some Daniel Pinkwater I hadn't read, but I never dreamed there was a novel floating around out there. Guess that's what half.com is for.
