V for Vendetta, Alan Moore & David Lloyd

In a dystopian future where the cops are worse than the criminals, a masked force rises to blow some shit up.

Different than the movie in several key places, though I can see why, this book is incredibly compelling.

Starcross, Philip Reeve

Two kids and their mom go on vacation to a luxury hotel on an asteroid. It seems that every twelve hours, the asteroid travels back in time to when it was attached to Mars. This brings an excellent opportunity to bathe in the Martian sea.

But there are plenty of weird things going on at the resort, and the family find themselves attacked by sentient hats that feed on thoughts.

Weird and fun, though, once again, I didn't like it as much as the first one.
