Graphic novel version of the short story, which is actually pretty funny.

In this second installment, the fairy-like girl and her short-legged, doggish companion have a sci-fi-like adventure. An alien creature steals one of the girl's wings, and the two set off to fetch it back.

The art in this series is great. There were a couple images I could have scanned to share, but they were kind of spoilers.

Justice League International

A collection of the first issues of the series, with lots of wise assery and Black Canary dressed incredibly eighties. I guess it was an improvement over the whole jacket-bathing-suit-fishnets thing, but not much of one.

Ah, superheroes.

Tamara Drewe, Posy Simmonds

Life in and around a writer's colony figure heavily in this one. Pretty decent story, though kind of depressing.

Dresden Files: Welcome to the Jungle, Jim Butcher & Ardian Syaf

Graphic novel about Harry Dresden fighting monsters at a zoo. Not bad.
