In this volume, the girl with the "naturally curly hair" is introduced. Later, she gets a cat, which we only see sitting up on its own once. Fun read.

Big Fat Little Lit

A compilation of the previous Little Lit books. Slightly smaller, this is a fat paperback full of short stories, most in comic book form, aimed at children. Some are pretty neat. Lots of familiar names involved, too.

Invasion of the Road Weenies, David Lubar

This is a bunch of short horror stories for kids. Most of them are pretty clever, and lots are kinda creepy. If I wasn't so old and jaded, this book would scare the hell out of me.

Flight: Volume One

A bunch of short illustrated stories in comic book form. I think the book is aimed at teenagers. Some of the art is great, but none of the stories really grabbed me.
