Creator of Earthworm Jim and giver of ridiculous names to his daughter TenNapel created a strange world in this book. You have a secret government lab in a small town, ghosts, demon monsters, alien parasites and spirituality. Oh, and did I mention the giant space eels? Giant space eels.

Pretty good.

Dave Barry's History of the Millenium (So Far)

Okay, the part where he gives the rundown on 1000 through 1999 is pretty funny. But then it's just a collection of his end-of-the-year pieces from 2000 through 2006, and.. they just didn't grab me.

Glad I didn't buy this one.
