Annie and Rew live on lies, because the Grandmother they depend on is sick, and often can't take care of them. They spend a lot of time in the forest behind their house, making up stories about their dead father.
Until that father shows up in their house.
This book was a tad too dependent on coincidences. It was decent, but not anything that makes me eager to read more of this author.
