In the 1980s a girl's best friend goes all weird and it turns out she's possessed.
This was pretty good. It was compelling,and setting it in the "satanic panic" era really added something. The class distinctions really hit home too. The packaging is a little gimmicky, but the story gets really gruesome.
If you can't handle gross, don't read this.
Otherwise--well, I'm not comparing it to Beaches or even a Bentley Little novel, but this is a pretty decent novel about some fucked up shit.
